Born and raised in a both windy and windmade town called Ringkøbing, (the headquaters of Vestas Wind Systems – manufacturer, seller, installer, and servicer of wind turbines), I’m all in for the concept of the WindMade movement.

I’m just a little dissapointed in the look and feel of both video and website. It’s a story and a concept that could be told in a much cooler fashion, and execution-wise it could also have been stepped up a notch. But I guess all the good work goes into the technicalities and the detailing of the labelling program and standards.

I do like the little Twitter feature, it allows you to tweet what kind of products you want to be WindMade, thus encouraging brands to get involved and start powering their productions with renewable energy. Make your own wish for WindMade products here.
