Looking forward to digging into “What’s mine is yours” – a book about collaborative consumption. Just tried out the concept Gomore last week – it’s an organized and safe way of hitchhiking – it worked out perfectly, and I only paid 150 kr for a Copenhagen-Århus trip as opposed to the 370 kr a train ticket cost. A pleasant way to travel and cheap!!! On the way back I went with the train, as referred to in the post: Roller coaster Public Transport.
The authors describe collaborative consumption as “when people come together through virtual and real-world communities to share, barter, trade, rent, gift, lend, and swap to get the same pleasures of ownership with reduced personal burden and cost and lower environmental impact.”
